United, we build healthy communities.
United, we support our youth to find success in and out of the classroom.
United, we work together to address food insecurities.
United, we help support working families when times are tough.
United, we help our neighbors prepare to enter the workforce.
We bring together people, resources, and ideas to tackle the root causes of our community’s biggest challenges.
Annual Report
The 2024–2025 Annual Report from United Way of Mid & South Jefferson County showcases a transformative year of bold action and deep community investment. Driven by a mission to uplift lives and tackle systemic challenges, United Way directly impacted over 72,000 individuals through powerful initiatives across four pillars: Healthy Community, Community Resiliency, Youth Opportunities, and Financial Stability. From delivering over 1 million meals and 27,000+ therapy sessions to distributing 24,000 books and securing 38,000 safe shelter nights, the organization mobilized resources with precision and compassion. Standout programs like the West Port Arthur Community Garden, United We Work, Early Literacy campaigns, and the innovative SETXvolunteers.org platform amplified support for families, youth, and underserved neighborhoods.
