2011 BASF FINA Petrochemicals LIVE UNITED 5K Run/Walk in the Park & Kids 1K
This year's LIVE UNTIED 5K and Kid's 1K event was a wonderful success. We had a total of 179 registered runners ranging in age from 2 - 60! Thanks to our wonderful sponsors we had donuts and coffee for the early shift of volunteers; fruit and water for our runners; and smoothies and cookies for everyone to enjoy! Our partner agencies had an information fair and some even formed running teams! We had rub-on tatoos for the kids (and adults!), trophies and medals for the runners, and lots and lots of great door prizes! The weather was perfect and it was a wonderful way to get your day started. This event raised more than $13,000 which will fund 21 local agencies in the area of education, health, and income.
